Chris Dawson Is Expected To Be Released On Bail Today

Chris Dawson is expected to be released on bail from Silverwater Correctional Facility today, according to Ten Daily.

Dawson was charged with the murder of his first wife Lynette Dawson, who disappeared from Sydney’s northern beaches in 1982.

Her body has never been found.

The 70-year-old’s bail was rejected no Friday over complications with a land deed that was needed to meet the $1.5 million surety.

Updated paperwork was accepted today.

Dawson’s lawyers proposed that he should be able to live with family in Coolum, Queensland, while awaiting trial.
