The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Art Prize is nearly upon us, and this year’s event will be even more exciting with new categories, and a major acquisition prize of $20,000!

The annual competition has become iconic in the Western Australian arts calendar as an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the creative arts industry.

This year’s event will be centred around the theme of Gold, so all submitted artworks must be fundamentally linked to this.

Entries close this Friday 10th August at 4pm, so be quick to drop off any submissions to the designated locations in Menzies, Leonora, Laverton, Esperance, Merredin and Perth.

The CKB Art Prize will be open from the 22nd September – 8th October at the Goldfields Arts Centre.
