Wade Graham has agreed to a three-year extension with the Sharks, a move that will see him remain at Cronulla until the end of the 2022 season.

The 28-year-old co-captain - who the Sharks themselves have touted as "the man destined to take over the leadership of the Sharks when Paul Gallen brings to end his illustrious year" - will sign his contract extension later today.

"I have tremendous belief in the club and in our playing group and I'm looking forward to the next four years and to the next chapter of my career," Graham said in a statement this morning.
