Collingwood Fans Care

Following Eddie McGuire's decision to resign as the President of the Collingwood Football Club, we spoke to the Co-Founder of the Collingwood Fans Care group.

Toby Hemingway and the rest of the Collingwood Fans Care Group has been calling for change within the Club since the Allegations of Systematic Racism began.

"You can't argue with the facts, and unfortunately there have been a string of racist incidents throughout the Club's history that add up to more than one-offs, bad apples, accidents or mishaps."

We asked Hemingway if McGuire's resignation was the outcome the group desired.

"We never asked for Eddie McGuire to stand down, that was never the remedy we sought. We acknowledge that this is an issue across the AFL and across our culture."

"We had a responsibility to ask our Club to do better on this issue."
