Coastie Julia Morris Launches Gold Logie Campaign with Paddy & Rob Palmer
'I’m very much a Central Coast girl'
Comedian Julia Morris grew up in Springfield and joined 107.7 Triple M’s Paddy and Rob Palmer to launch her bid at the TV’s Gold Logie award.
Morris has been nominated along with fellow comedians Tom Gleeson and Hamish Blake, TV hosts Melissa Leong, Karl Stefanovic and Sonia Kruger and legendary Home and Away actor Ray Meagher.
‘I’m very much a Central Coast girl, I wear it like a badge’ Morris told Paddy & Rob Palmer ‘I’ve had quite a substantial coastal life, most of my friends are still on the coast’.
If she’s successful, Morris will become the first Coastie woman to win Australian TV’s biggest award.
