A friend of ours here at the station - Alana McLean - is an ex-Perthie who has been stuck in lockdown in Victoria during this second wave and this morning, she revealed the TEARS she cried when the big announcement was made yesterday about a lifting of certain restrictions.

"Honestly, I cried for about 20 minutes,

"The feeling of relief, I can't describe it, it was such a moment."

Alana went into more detail about how bloody tough it has been over there. Something that, no doubt, us West Australians are extremely thankful that we didn't have to endure it.

LISTEN:

Can't you just hear the relief. It's palpable.

Alana obviously thought so when she found out.

Here's to putting this all behind us and hoping for a much better 2021.
