The always popular annual footy carnival for Queensland schools is happening in the North these school holidays.
The Queensland Independent Secondary Schools Rugby League Confraternity Carnival (Confro) will see dozens of Queensland teenagers head to Charters Towers for five big days of rugby league.
We have no doubt the Rockhampton Grammar School will be eager to defend their 2017 winning title, but they'll have to face some keen competitors first.
From Townsville we'll have Iggy Park, Ryan Catholic College and St Anthony's competing from Monday July 2.
FUN FACT: NRL stars Coen Hess, Valentine Holmes, Johnathan Thurston, Matt Scott, Matt Bowen, and Michael Morgan have all worn a Confro jersey.
The 2018 Confro games will be played at Columba Catholic College in Charters Towers and you can get more info here.
Good luck to all players!
