Construction Site Accident In Sydney's North As Man Falls Several Metres From Scaffolding

There has been an accident at a construction site in Sydney's north this afternoon, with a worker falling several metres from scaffolding at Macquarie Park.

Paramedics have attended the scene, with the man found unconscious with serious bleeding and pain in his back and left quadriceps after falling 4.2m from a ledge.

The rescue was difficult for emergency services with the man landing amongst scaffolding.

He has been taken on a stretcher to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
