Fox Sports are reporting that Corey Norman is expected to sign a three-year deal with the Dragons by the end of the week.

The Parramatta playmaker has been actively shopped around since the middle of the year, with Eels coach Brad Arthur reportedly happy to see Norman get another shot at the Red V.

It's expected that the 27-year-old will play fullback or five-eighth although, as Triple M's James "Hoops" Hooper points out, the move will lead to questions about current No. 1 Matt Dufty.

Last month captain Gareth Widdop was forced to confirm that he'll remain at the Dragons next season despite rumours that he had asked for a release to return to the UK.

It's believed that an official statement as to Norman's appointment will be released in the next 48 hours.
