Councillor Stuart Taylor Addresses Fraser Coast CEO Rumours

Councillor Stuart Taylor joined Scott & Andrew on the show this morning to chat about the rumours circulating around the Fraser Coast Regional Council. 

The rumours circulating have been:

• CEO is out to get councillors 
• CEO looking for another job

Cr Stuart Taylor defended the rumours saying, "If you put them through the pub test, they're pretty boring."

He also went on to say the rumours were addressed very professionally by Fraser Coast Regional Council's CEO, Ken Diehm. 

"I appreciate that he took the time to stamp out those rumours.

A CEO should be able to send an email to his councillors and it should remain confidential.

The community should expect more from their councillors if there's confidential information, it should be protected."

Cr Taylor says the backs the CEO and will continue to do so. 

"The CEO has my full support and he'll continue to have my full support. I didn't vote to sack the former CEO and I won't be voting to sack this one", he said.
