The AFL has revealed the Qualifying Final match between Collingwood and Brisbane has been postponed, forced upon by COVID reaching the Magpies camp.

Collingwood's list fell under the minimum number of players required to fill a side based off the AFLW's rescheduling guidelines.

The team were unable to pick a full side, due to various reasons which include virus infections, close contact isolations and injuries.

The league is working together with both clubs to reschedule the game which was set to be played at the Gabba, 3:10pm (AEST) on Saturday.

"The AFL will work through this and provide an update on the impacts to the scheduled Brisbane Lions vs Collingwood match as soon as it is in a position to do so," the statement read.
