Cowboy Jake Granville Looking Likely For State Of Origin Selection

Jake Granville could be a matter of weeks away from making his State of Origin debut, if Coach Kev makes the call to put him in the squad. 

Reportedly Granville is at the top of Kev's wish list of players who he'd like to fill the spot now that hooker Andrew McCullough is injured. 

As for the rest of the team, former Maroons captain Cameron Smith told Fox Sports over the long weekend that he has a "never say never" policy on returning to the Queensland squad.

Coach Kev has stated though that choosing Cameron is not on his radar.
