The last tower crane will be removed from the Grand Central redevelopment site today, Saturday February 4 - removal will continue through the day.

Little Street will be closed between Victoria and Duggan Streets for the works.

This crane was installed in February last year to build and construct the car park structure.  It is a Favelle Favco M220DX, and has a working capacity of 28 tonnes.

It will be removed using a mobile crane, a Liebherr 350T, set at a 40m radius from the tower crane.

At its peak, there were five tower cranes operating on the Grand Central redevelopment.
