Police are continuing to investigate who shot a grandfather cycling the Myrtleford-Everton Rail Trail last Saturday.
72-year-old Kelvin Tennant's memory is slowly coming back about the man in a dark sedan who made an unprovoked and random attack - which left him with bullets in his head and chest - shocking the Border.
Fairfax Media report detectives and SES have scoured land at Burgoigee Creek yesterday and are set to go over CCTV footage.
