Adelaide Crows' Coach Matthew Nicks joined Roo and Ditts this morning to discuss the future for the Crows and his plans for next season.
Matty Nicks made comments at Friday night's Best & Fairest about "4 senior plays" stating that they are "definitely wanted and required next year" including Taylor Walker. Ditts asked Matty Nicks to elaborate:
“It was a deliberate statement – Tex has known for a number of weeks that he has my support”
Matty Nicks highlighted two players who have greatly improved this season; Paul Seedsman and Ben Keays, and discussed the attitude they brought to this season that allowed them to progress so far.
Ditts couldn't help himself and threw out the F word: "Maybe you start talking Finals next year?"
Nicksy believes that “We’ve still got a little way to go” and “You’re never that bad and you’re never that good – competition is so even. We love the group we are putting together”
