The Adelaide Crows and GWS Giants have completed a pick swap ahead of next week's AFL draft.

The Crows passed on pick 4 in the 2019 AFL draft to GWS, and received pick 6 (2019) and a future first round selection (2020) in return.

Meaning they'll slide two places in this year's draft, but pick up an extra first round selection for next year.

Speaking this afternoon on Triple M Adelaide, Crows list manager Justin Reid said the move was a win/win for both clubs, and pinpointed a potential player the club could select with pick 6.

Clubs are able to trade draft picks up until 2pm, 22 Friday, and on draft night itself.
