Triple M's Damian Barrett says GWS has to offload a million dollars from their salary cap at the end of the season, which could force a host of stars and young talent out of the club in the upcoming trade period.
Barrett explained on Triple M's Rush Hour on Monday it partly ties back to mega-money deals for three of their stars.
"(Stephen) Coniglio, (Josh) Kelly and (Toby) Greene are on massive deals, and you understand why they reacted the way they did at those times," he explained.
"They've got to offload a million dollars before the new coach (comes in).
"They're a massive worry."
And there's four names on the radar who could start their 2023 seasons elsewhere.
