“There is very, very, very strong consideration being given as we speak,” Damo said on the Midweek Rub.

“It is yet to be signed off on. It has to be discussed and thrashed out at commission level.

“That will happen early April at its next meeting.

“I think it’s line ball that it will be a twilight start.”

Wayne Carey said that he likes the traditional start time of 2:30pm over a twilight grand final.

“That 4:30pm start, for me that stinks!

“As a player I would’ve hated to start at 4:30pm.

“It’s either a night game, or a day game.

“There’s not a lot of twilight games and then you’re wanting two of the best teams to go into a situation that they have hardly played in all year.

“Don’t like it.”
