Damien Oliver Is Back In Perth To Ride Hot Favourite Rothfire

Jockey, Damien Oliver, is back in his home town of Perth and joined Xavier Ellis and Michelle Anderson to chat about his get together with family and upcoming race.

“Time to catch up with some family and friends and managed to get out for a hit of golf yesterday,” Damien said on Xav and Michelle for Breakfast.

Riding on the favourite, Rothfire, Damien admits he is keen to bring forward a good race.

“It’s not going to be easy there’s a bit of depth in the race…you always got to respect the local sprinters as well, they’re usually pretty good.”

"Rothfire would be my best chance, for sure."
