Darren Weir Handed Four Year Ban By Racing Disciplinary Board

Champion trainer Darren Weir has been handed a four-year ban by the racing disciplinary board.

At a hearing at the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Wednesday, Weir was handed a four year disqualification. It's believed it took two and a half hours for the panel to come to their verdict. 

Three jiggers, electronic devices used to shock horses, were found at Weir’s bedroom during police raids at his Ballarat property last week.
