If there's anyone to be comparing people to Nirvana, it's rock legend Dave Grohl.
And he’s clearly seen a lot in pop musician Billie Eilish, comparing her to Nirvana in 1991.
Speaking at a conference in California earlier this week, as reported by Variety, he spoke about his daughters liking the pop musician.
“My daughters are obsessed with Billie Eilish,” he said. “The same thing is happening with her that happened with Nirvana in 1991.
People say, ‘Is rock dead?’
When I look at someone like Billie Eilish, rock and roll is not close to dead!”
However, rock icon Slash has nominated someone else as the next rock saviours - Greta Van Fleet, who recently announced some re-scheduled Australian shows.
