David Warner spanked Chris Gayle around in the Bangladesh Premier League whilst batting right-handed.
Warner was facing Gayle in the 19th over of Sylhet Sixers’ innings, and could only manage two off the first three balls while facing up traditionally.
Frustrated, he decided to switch to facing up as a right-hander with immediate results — he hit 14 off the last three balls of the over.
He even went the reverse sweep off the last ball, thereby going back to a left handed stance.
It’s dizzy stuff folks.
Warner’s hitting helped the Sixers to 5/187 against Rangpur Riders, which they comfortably defended in a 27 run win.
Phil Tufnell hilariously explained why his nickname is The Cat on our Ashes coverage last year.
