Two court bids to stop the demolition of Sydney's Allianz Stadium have been dismissed after a judge ruled the NSW government had followed proper planning procedures.

Community group Local Democracy Matters and Waverley Council launched separate court actions to stop the state government knocking down the arena before the March 23 election.

But Land and Environment Court Justice Nicola Pain on Wednesday ruled the government had exhibited the demolition proposal for the required period of time and considered design excellence as required.
