Devin Dawson Proposes to Longtime Girlfriend

We have another engagement announcement – congratulations are in order for Devin Dawson and his girlfriend, now fiancé, Leah Skyes.

Devin proposed to Leah recently on a trip to San Francisco where the couple were celebrating their two-year anniversary.  San Francisco seemed the fitting place for to Devin to get down on one knee, it’s where he grew up.

Speaking with PEOPLE Devin said he thought Leah suspected he might pop the question after he took her around all his favourite places – but he wanted to catch her off guard.

We think he succeeded.  Waiting until late on Saturday night when the clock struck midnight Dawson took over the rooftop bar of the hotel – once the elevator doors opened Leah was greeted with their song playing, candles everywhere and the magnificent San Francisco skyline as the perfect backdrop – scene set, you can guess the rest.

These country guys really know how to propose!
