The Central Coast branch of the Disabled Surfers Association is holding its first 'smiles on dials' event for 2019 at Toowoon Bay on Saturday 2nd February!

DSA provides an opportunity that allows those with a disability to experience the quintessential
Australian past time of surfing, a pastime that able bodied take for granted.

Volunteers can register by calling Pauline on 0416 332 166. Sign in on the day is at 9.00 am with surfing commencing at 9.30 am. A free BBQ is provided for volunteers and participants from noon.

Volunteering consists of helping participants to and from the beach, assisting them in and out of the water including tandem board riding. We always need help with set up and clean up too. Food is provided and smiles are always encouraged!

Volunteers do not need to know how to surf, they just need to be willing to get wet and have some fun! If you surf, it's a bonus. A rash shirt will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own wetsuits.
