It's a tough topic to talk about, but an important one: District Superintendent SW Geoff Stewart spoke to Angie today about what people can do if they are a victim of sexual assault.
“If someone is a victim of sexual assault, sexual harassment or sexual intimidation, there are people and organisations that can assist and are more than willing to listen and put in place things that can help them.”
He said if someone is a victim the first thing they need to do is tell someone they trust or reach out to organisations who can help.
He said the Southwest wasn't immune to sexual assault and it was vital the community took a stand against it.
