Australians are still learning to cope with lockdown regulations, which is leaving many of us feeling a little overwhelmed. 

As such, we are acting accordingly and upping our consumption of alcohol to deal with the stress associated with being cooped up in doors.

Look, no one's judging, especially if you're a stay at home Mum or Dad - that would be enough to drive many of us to a generous glass of red at the end of a long day.

Never the less, Doctors are imploring us to give our livers a rest and have come up with a great challenge to deter Australians from drinking for two consecutive days a week. 

This morning, Tanya & Steve got in touch with Dr Bridie O’Donnell, to find out a little more about the challenge and why it's important to go easy on our livers, even if it's just for two days. 

Dr O'Donnell explains why craving a drink is very normal during these uncertain times and offers us some helpful tips to avoid the booze and change up our internal reward systems.
