The message not to drink drive still seems to be difficult for some to comprehend.

Police have charged a P-plater for High Range PCA on the Coffs Coast.

About 3:20am on Saturday morning, a 19 year old male from Toormina, driving a Holden Commodore sedan, was stopped due to his manner of driving in Amaroo Cresent at Toormina. 

He was subjected to a breath test proving positive. 

Police then conveyed the man to the Coffs Harbour Police Station where he returned a breath analysis result of 0.201.

Provisional licence holders are restricted to a zero level. 

At the time he had 2 passengers, an 18 old female and 20 old male seated in the rear seat of the vehicle.

The driver was charged for drive with the High Range PCA 0.201 and will appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on 14 January 2019. 

His driver licence was confiscated and he was issued a suspension notice.
