A bunch of locals have come together and have formed a music group called The Drought Breakers to raise funds for Aussie farmers!

The group have covered Dragon's 1983 hit, Rain, with all proceeds from the song going to Buy a Bale.

Seany spoke to Scott Darlow from The Drought Breakers on the show this morning to chat about how it all came about.

"I was having a coffee with the Head of Content for Triple M and he had the idea and told me to get in the studio, record the song, get a few mates on it and all proceeds will go to the farmers," Scott said.

You can purchase the song through iTunes for $2.19 to help the struggling farmers.
