Earthquake Recorded on the Darling Downs

The Darling Downs was hit with an earthquake in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Geoscience Australia recorded the 3.1 earthquake in the region around 3:25am.

The epicentre of the quake was reported to hit 16km north-west of Gatton.
