Ed And Darc Correct A Herald Sun Article About The Hot Breakfast Ending

Eddie McGuire and Luke Darcy corrected a Herald Sun article about the Hot Breakfast ending yesterday.

The Herald Sun suggested that the announcement of the Hot Breakfast ending was a "rushed announcement" that came "after several Herald Sun inquiries to Triple M management the previous day".

But Ed and Darc said that isn’t true.

"We were gonna announce this on my birthday, on the 29th of October," Ed said.

"Then we were gonna do it last week, and management asked if we could get through things, they had some things that they had to tie up… and it didn’t worry us when we announced when it was finishing.

"In fact I spoke to Grant Blackley and Dave Cameron and to Mike Fitzpatrick, our bosses here at Triple M, just to let them know what I was gonna say last week!"

Ed and Darc also pushed back on suggestions their relationship had "cooled".
