Eddie: 80 Year-Old Collingwood Supporter Offered $10,000 For A Membership

Eddie McGuire has revealed the incredible act of generosity from a senior Collingwood supporter on the Hot Breakfast this morning. 

McGuire said that a Pies fan in his eighties offered to buy a membership for $10,000 to support the club through these tough financial times.

"A man in his eighties rang up and said 'I want to buy a membership and I want to pay $10,000 for it'," McGuire said. 

"It's unbelievable!

"He said 'Ah look, I want to help be with the Pies, get you across the line, help you as much as we can.

"There are some wonderful people out there at the moment trying to do their best for the things they love."
