Eddie McGuire has addressed rumours of the return of The Footy Show on the Hot Breakfast this morning.

There are rumours that the show will come back for a grand final episode, hosted by Ed and Sam Newman.
Ed said there was “no announcement” on the future of the show yet.
“I’ve said in the past and we said when the show finished up that we’d be looking at different things at Channel 9, and we continue to look at things… there’s been no decisions on this,” Ed said.
“Is it something that’s been contemplated? Yeah.”
