Egg Boi Has Officially Been Cautioned By Police

A Melbourne teen dubbed "Egg Boi", has received an official caution for cracking an egg on Senator Fraser Anning’s head.

17-year-old Will Connolly cracked the egg over the controversial senators head at a far-right event, following offensive comments from the Senator on March 16.

Bayside Crime Investigation Unit detectives say they concluded their investigation into the incident.  

“Investigators reviewed CCTV footage of the incident and both parties were interviewed. The 17-year-old Hampton boy has been issued with an official caution in relation to the incident.

 A decision has been made not to charge the 69-year-old man. On assessment of all the circumstances, the 69-year-old’s actions were treated as self defence and there was no reasonable prospect of conviction.” 

However they do continue to appeal for assistance identifying a man who kicked Will when he was on the ground, anyone who can help is urged to contact Crimestoppers.
