Electrical Fault Believed to be Cause of Gowrie Mountain House Fire

An electrical fault is believed to be the cause of a blaze at a Gowrie Mountain home yesterday morning.

Fire crews were called out early yesterday to try and control the fire that took hold of a single storey timber home, with crews called in from Oakey and Highfields battling the try to contain the inferno.

No one was inside the property when the fire broke out.
