Just in, the upcoming Elton John biopic Rocketman will be rated R.

The musical biopic, out in cinemas this May will include sex scenes according The Hollywood Reporter.

Unlike Queen's family friendly, PG rated Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman is sounding more like Motley Crue's The Dirt, with excessive drugs and sex.

The film goes back as far as Elton John's childhood where he studied at Royal Academy of Music, rise to fame, to his realisation of his sexuality and drug addiction.

Playing the role of John, Taron Egerton sings all the vocals in the film and even took the role so serious he pierced his ear, just like Elton.

Bound to scare off the Candle In The Wind era- Elton fans, we're looking forward to this juicy biopic, in cinemas May 24.
