After five-rounds in Kevin Walters experimental Broncos line-up the axe finally fell upon Anthony Milford yesterday and Gorden Tallis offered up some sage advice for the veteran.

Milford will instead run out this weekend for Souths Logan in the Intrust Super Cup alongside Corey Oates, Tesi Niu and Karmichael Hunt.

Speaking on The Rush Hour Queenslander Tallis told listeners that believes Milford is in desperate need of confidence and if playing in the second tier Queensland does stack up then a move to the English Super League would be the ideal place.

“It’s a slower game, where there’s less wrestle, less pressure and he could go over there and still earn the same amount of money and play”
