We already know that being outdoors, getting fresh air, enjoying nature can boost our mood, but now the numbers have been crunched.
JAMA Psychiatry's latest study has revealed that 15 minutes of vigorous exercise each day can prevent depression.
Anything that gets your heart rate up is GREAT!
Even if it's washing the car, maybe ask your neighbour if they want their car done too!
The study goes on to suggest that outdoor activity is the best for beating the blues.
Luckily we live in a region that is bursting with outdoor beauty to enjoy while we get our daily 15 minutes.

Head to your favourite spot for a brisk walk, a light jog, a skipping rope session, a high intensity play session with your dog, a few rounds of jumping jacks and crunches- whatever you need to do to keep your heart rate up for 15 minutes.
