This long weekend will be HUGE on the activities front... never a dull moment around Esperance!
HORIZON POWER MARCH TENNIS TOURNAMENT
Fierce competition each day, Saturday and Sunday, this long weekend at the tennis club with State league quality players coming down to compete for ranking points. The ever popular twilight social doubles competition has been organised again this year with prizes on offer too, and commences after the big tournament finishes each day. Teams can enroll all the way up to this Friday afternoon, just call 9071 1903 to book your teams place.
The bar and canteen will be open from Friday until late each evening.
HORIZON POWER MARCH SQUASH TOURNAMENT
Just down the road the Squash boys and girls will be using a smaller racket and ball, but the competition promises to be just as fierce with high quality players coming to town. Friday night from 6pm the best women squash players from the state will take part in the State Woman's League round. The Esperance Open begins on Saturday and will lost until the finals on Sunday afternoon with world class squash gracing the courts. Prizes for winners!
Full bar for spectators, food available including pig on a spit on Sunday, and a live music, fun-filled Saturday evening sun-downer to unwind after a hard hitting day of competition.

VOLLEYBALL WA BEACH TOURNAMENT
Saturday at West beach is the perfect scene for beach volleyball with the annual Beach Tournament. This features Round 6 of Volleyball WA's Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour and will also offer cash prizes for men and women in elite divisions.

ESPERANCE CUP AT THE ESPERANCE BAY TURF CLUB
It is the premier event on the Esperance Bay Turf Club calendar, the Freightlines Group Esperance Cup this Sunday. Enjoy a great social day out and all the racing action. Bar, ATM, Canteen available, and face painting for the kids.
Free bus service 1st leaving 11:50am and second 12:20pm from Pink Lake Bakery onto Esperance Hotel, Pier Hotel and Travellers inn with 2 return services 6:15pm and 7:15pm.

Finishing of the Sunday festivities is the McD Contracting Esperance Speedway races, with heaps of action starting from 6pm. The Wingless Sprintcars are back and WA's best Wingless wonders will be lighting up the track. The Esperance Holden Production Sedan South East Open is also on the menu with the likes of locals - Barrett, Tyrrell, Macalpine & Stewart ready to do battle with the South West's best.
