Essendon Given A Hefty Fine For Joe Daniher’s Good Friday Inclusion

Essendon have been handed a $20,000 fine for including Joe Daniher from outside the selected squad for the Good Friday win over North Melbourne.

The Bombers withdrew Zac Clarke on the day of the game and brought Joe Daniher into the team, despite Daniher not being selected even as an emergency.

Daniher booted 2.1 from 10 touches and five marks in Essendon’s 17.14 (116) to 7.16 (58) win.
