A former Oz Jet 737-200 that was itting idle at Perth Airport for years now have a new home in York.
It made its way to White Gum Air Park in York piece by piece with a 30.5 metre fuselage being transported along major roads.
OzJet went into financial trouble in 2009 with three jets left behind at WA's biggest airport.
One jet was taken to Jandakot Airport to assist with non flying flight training, while two were left behind.
Andrew Cottrell and his wife Mary are taking on a new project with the decommissioned planes.
They hope the community will embrace a piece of aviation history.
