Birds Of Tokyo guitarist Adam Spark talks exclusively to Triple M’s Iron Hayden about his Dry July campaign.

The guitarist who is raising money for NSW Cancer Support announced a game changer by giving away one of his guitars to anyone who donated to his campaign.

Adam, who announced via the bands official Facebook he’d be donating a guitar revealed  he didn’t think the decision through and after the announcement realised just how important this guitar has been in the bands career, being used on some of their biggest hits to date!

Sparks' inspiration to take part in the fundraiser event that encourages participants to quit the booze for the month of July, said he’s inspired to make a difference and see the health benefits.

But it’s not been easy.

Sparks does reveal the band are working on new material, here’s hoping they can produce just as good stuff with or without the guitar.
