A Sydney man has fronted court over an alleged fatal domestic violence incident.
Emergency services were called to an apartment block on Kings Cross Road in Rushcutters Bay just before 2 pm on Wednesday afternoon, following reports of an assault.
A 39-year-old unresponsive man with head injuries was treated by paramedics in a basement car park, before being taken to St Vincent's Hospital, where he died shortly after.
Police arrested a 42-year-old man at the scene, who was reportedly the victim's partner and charged him with murder.

He was refused bail before appearing in Central Local Court on Thursday.
