A 16-year-old girl has died, after a crash at Mumbannar, near the South Australian border.
A car and truck collided on the Princes Highway, at about 7:45pmDST on Wednesday.
An 11-year-old boy's been flown to the Royal Children's Hospital in a serious condition, for pelvic, abdominal and leg injuries.
The driver of the car, a 42-year-old woman, along with a 33-year-old male passenger were also rushed to hospital.
The driver of the truck, a 38-year-old man was not injured, and is assisting police with their inquiries.
The exact cause of the collision is yet to be determined at this stage.
