A teen has died following a head-on smash involving north of Singleton.
The 17-year-old driver suffered multiple serious injuries after his car collided with a semi-trailer on the New England Highway just before 2pm
Tragically he couldn't be saved.
His female passenger was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries - while driver of the truck is undergoing mandatory testing at hospital.
The New England Highway is closed in both directions - with drivers urged to take the Golden Highway or Denman Road if possible
