The Action Will Be Hot At Norah Head This Weekend
Regional Firefighter Championship
Wyong firefighters will pit their skills against the state’s best when they host the Fire and Rescue NSW Regional Firefighter Championship at Norah Head Sports Ground this weekend.
FRNSW firefighters from as far afield as Armidale, Dubbo, Nowra, Port Macquarie, South Grafton and Ulladulla as well as crack NSW Rural Fire Service crews from Kootingal and Tamworth, will compete in the championships.
Taking place over two days, the competition will test the skills, professionalism and training of regional firefighters, with events simulating fire and rescue situations. People are invited to come and watch the crews battle it out for championship points, with events kicking off at 8am each day.
