Gold Coasters are being offered FREE flu vaccines in an effort to stop the virus in its tracks.
Australia's expected to record its worst flu season ever, and the Gold Coast is no exception; there's been over a thousand hospitalisations already this year.
The local Public Health Unit is holding free clinics between now and the end of June.
