Footballer Sustains Serious Neck Injury In Rugby Match

A man, aged in his early twenties, is now in the care of specialists at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, after he was injured playing football in south-west Queensland region on Saturday.
Suffering suspected neck injuries, the injured man was in a serious, but stable condition.
He was under the supervision of the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Flight Paramedic during the flight to Brisbane.
