Four men are off to court today, after being denied bail, over the alleged murder of a 36-year-old man in Gailes, Ipswich.

Police were called to the address on Old Logan Road, around 4pm on Saturday, where they found Chris Anderson, 36, with a single gunshot wound to his chest. He died at the scene.

It’s believed his partner and two-year-old-son had just left when then four men turned up at the house, approaching the victim on the front lawn. It’s alleged there was an argument after the men went inside.

A 28-year-old Riverview man; 21-year-old Redbank Plains man; 31-year-old Leichardt man; and a 19-year-old Riverview man are facing multiple charges, including murder, armed robbery and enter dwelling with intent.
