Trains are suspended on the Frankston Line and boom gates are down after a person was his by a train in Seaford.

It’s understood the person was hit by a train between Seaford and Carrum at about 1pm today.

Metro Trains has advised commuters to seek alternative transport, replacement busses are o expected to operate until around 4.30pm.  Commuters are urged to use bus services such as the 708, 858/857 or the 780.

Trains continue to run between Flinders St and Mordialloc.
